Betty is a Program Director at HOME WORKS! As a Program Director, Betty serves as a liaison between HOME WORKS! and the school by working very closely with the Site Coordinators at her assigned schools/districts. Betty’s responsibilities include program management, logistics, planning, and data collection, as well as leading continuous quality improvement initiatives and the integration of best practices within the program.
Betty is a veteran educator with more than 40 years of experience at multiple classroom and administration levels. She has provided professional development training for city and county teachers, principals and superintendents, and has developed and implemented career education life skills courses for middle and high school students. Betty has also served as a district level curriculum supervisor, as an Accreditation Compliance Officer helping the Saint Louis Public School District prepare for two accreditation reviews and as a middle school assistant principal. Post retirement, Betty has and continues to serve as an adjunct instructor of business management and administration at the community college level.
