As a Program Director, Bert serves as a liaison between HOME WORKS! and the school by working very closely with the Site Coordinators at his assigned schools/districts. Bert’s responsibilities include program management, logistics, planning, and data collection, as well as leading continuous quality improvement initiatives and the integration of best practices within the program.
Bert Emmons is retired after a forty year career in the fields of education, rehabilitation, and behavioral health. He earned a master’s degree in special education from Indiana University. He has worked in diverse settings including public schools, state government, hospitals, and free-standing rehabilitation programs.
